Street Sense is a great horse and Calvin Borel is a world-class rider. Put the two of them together at the Travers and something newsworthy is bound to happen. So it was that in the last few strides of one of the most important races of his career, Borel turned in the saddle to take a long look under his arm at his competitor Robby Albarado on the charging Grasshopper. The glance tied the two of them together and made the image for this year’s poster. Friends in fast company, what could be better?
